Downloading a presentation
If you would like to download a file which has been uploaded to the classroom whiteboard, you have two options to do so.
When you are in the classroom, to find your download options you need to click on the actions button and then select 'Upload/Manage presentations':
You will then see the page title 'Presentation'.
Below this are a list of current presentations. Each of them have symbol to the right that looks like three vertical dots. Click this, and you will see two options:
These options are:
- 'Enable download of the presentation (pdf)'
and
- 'Send out a download link for the presentation including whiteboard annotations'.
'Enable download of the presentation (pdf)'
If you click on this option, you will be redirected back into the classroom and a new download button will be available to you and your students:
Clicking on this icon will download a version of the document without your annotations.
You may wish for your students to do this if you would like them to attempt a question or to revise the content at another time.
'Send out a download link for the presentation including whiteboard annotations'
If you click on this option, you will be redirected back to the classroom and you will see a message telling you that your file is downloading:
Once the file is fully downloaded, a link will appear in the chat for you to save it:
When you click on 'download' a version of the file including your annotations from the whiteboard will be saved to your device.
Your students will also see this download link in the chat.
Please be aware that this download link will save the version of the document at that moment. If you make further annotations after generating the download link to the chat, the new annotations will not be included.
