Learning Analytics Dashboard
Learning Analytics Dashboard Overview
The Learning Analytics Dashboard contains four main areas (as shown below).
- A tab list of different views available (User, Activity Score, Timeline and Polls)
- Session overview, including date, session duration and whether the session is Active or Inactive)
- An overview of the session information by user for all users that attended the session.
- A button to download the Learning Analytics Dashboard in CSV form.
User Overview
The user overview is broken up in nine parts:
- User name along with the time and date they joined the session
- The duration the user was online.
- The total duration of time the user was speaking.
- The total duration of time the user had their webcam on.
- The number of chat messages the user sent.
- The number and type of emojis the user used.
- The number of times the users raised their hands.
- The user activity score for the session.
- The user's current status is online/offline.
User view
This is the default view. It displays the user information by join time.
Activity Score View
This view sorts the users by highest activity score to lowest (you can reverse sort by clicking the arrow beside the activity score column title).
Timeline View
This is a scrollable view of the presentation. The slides are displayed along the top with the time of the presentation they were displayed. Along the bottom, the users along with any emojis or raised hands they used will be shown. You can use this information to show when and how students reacted to the presentation.
Poll View
This view displays all polling information. The question that was asked along with the student's answers and which answer was the most popular.
Individual View
By clicking on an user name in the Learning Analytics Dashboard you will taken to the individuals overview. This view will display all of the users information in one spot.
